On September 1st, 1976, A&E Bearing opened its doors to the public for the very first time. My grandfather, Alex Serrano, decided to put his decades of knowledge and experience into a local parts store that could serve Madera’s agricultural community.
Alex was a meticulous, intelligent, and extremely hard-working man who always put the customer first. The business grew rapidly, and before long, my father, Randy, came aboard to give my grandpa a hand.
Over the years, “The Shop,” as we lovingly call it in our family, became a local institution.
In 2012, shortly after I’d graduated college, I eagerly joined the family business.
At A&E, our mission is simple:
To keep as much local stock as possible for our agricultural and industrial clients.
To offer the best customer service.
To provide the best possible prices.
To grow and maintain the critical client relationships that have helped this business thrive for nearly half a century.
To continue acting as good stewards of this business, so that it may live to be at least one hundred years old.
